What does an AI family calendar do?
An AI family calendar can help turn unstructured information into a useful draft. In Duet, that means suggested events and tasks from things you share, or a proposed parenting-day schedule. Parents decide what to keep, edit, or leave out before anything is added.
Turn a school email into next steps
- Share the source with Duet. Send an email, photo, file, or text from another app using the share sheet.
- Review the suggestions. On supported devices, AI identifies possible events and concrete tasks.
- Check the important details. Compare dates, times, locations, and assignments with the original information.
- Edit and add. Choose the items you want in your family’s plan and keep the source with the relevant context.
One camp email, several useful reminders
A camp email might include orientation, a permission form, and a packing list. Review the suggested orientation event, check the sign-up task, and keep the original details nearby in topics and files.
Draft a parenting schedule with Smart Proposals
In Separated mode, Smart Proposals use Private Cloud Compute on supported devices to draft a 2-2-3, weekly, or custom parenting schedule. You can review the proposed days before the shared calendar changes. Holiday assignments stay locked, and existing events can help suggest clearer handoff timing.

Parents make the final call

Which devices support AI features?
AI functionality depends on the feature, device, and system availability. Duet’s event and task suggestions use on-device AI on supported devices; Smart Proposals use Private Cloud Compute on supported devices. Installing Duet does not by itself guarantee that every AI feature is available.
